Biography
I have been in academia for four decades and have mentored several prominent individuals, especially in the north-east zone of Nigeria. As the first Nigerian Ph.D. holder to be employed by the University of Maiduguri (Department of Languages and Linguistics) I have had the rare privilege of teaching several aspects of General Linguistics and French Grammar. My contacts with Canada and Germany have been very rewarding and I look forward to more collaborative engagements even after retirement from service.
