Biography

ISAAC DEJI AYEGBOYIN
Studied at T.I. Ahmadiya Secondary School (1964-1969); Wesley College (1969-71); B.A (Sociology and Religions) University of Ghana, Legon; (1976-79) M.A (Sociology of Religion) and PhD at the University of Ibadan (1983-90) and M.Div in Theology at The NBTS (Ogbomoso and Louisville, Kentucky for Ministerial Training) (1994-98)

• Professor and Head of Department for the study of Religions, University of Ibadan (2013-2017).
• Visiting Professor to three institutions in and outside Nigeria (since 2019)
• Member, Advisory Committee of the Theology Desk of the all Africa Conference of Churches (AACC) in Nairobi (2008-2013);
• Advisory Council Member, Dictionary of African Christian Biography (DACB), Boston University, USA (from 2014);
