PARTICIPATION IN GRANTS AND INTERNATIONAL COLLABORATIONS/PROJECTS:
• Resource Person and Facilitator, UNESCO Workshop on Strengthening National Capacities for the Implementation of the 2005 Convention: Development of Quadrennial Periodic Reporting for Nigeria on 9-11 May 2017, at Green Legacy Resort, Abeokuta, Ogun State.
• Invitation as a Resource and Research Consultant to DAAD Graduate School ‘Performing Sustainability. Cultures and Development in West Africa’. This is an interdisciplinary initiative and a collaborative training network for postgraduate students by the University of Hildesheim (Germany), the University of Maiduguri (Nigeria) and the University of Cape Coast (Ghana). The initiative is funded by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and focuses on innovative research that brings together approaches from performance, arts and culture to bear on sustainable development as defined in the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). A specific focus of the Graduate School is on issues of peace and conflict resolution. Workshops are held annually in Ghana, Nigeria and Germany with full-time postgraduate supervision (M.A and PhD). 2017 to 2020.

Biography
Prof Sunday Enessi Ododo (PhD) is a Professor of Performance Aesthetics, Theatre Practice and Theatre Technology who heads the Department of Theatre Arts, University of Maiduguri, Nigeria. He is the proponent of ‘Facekuerade Theory’, which derives from maskless transformational practices of traditional Ebira masquerade (eku). His scholarly publications have national and international outlets. He is on the team of World Scenography project. An erstwhile Sub-Dean of Arts, University of Ilorin, is also a poet and an ANA award winning playwright. He was Vice President of both the Association of Nigerian Authors (ANA) and the Society of Nigeria Theatre Artists (SONTA). He is the Immediate Past President of SONTA, the national umbrella body for all culture, media and theatre/performing arts scholars and practitioners in Nigeria. His is also a Fellow of both SONTA and the Nigerian Academy of Letters (NAL). He hails from Okene, Kogi State of Nigeria.
