Biography
Born in 1956 in the old city of Kano. From Royal Heritage Attended Ahmadu Bello University (finished 1979), University of London (1983), Sussex University for D.Phil, 1988) Fulbright African Senior Research Scholar (California, 1991), Rockefeller Foundation Fellow, Italy (1993), Visiting Professor – University of Florida, US, SOAS, London, State University of New Jersey. European Union Visiting Professor, University of Warsaw, Poland. PhD examiner University of Humboldt (Germany), University of Warsaw (Poland), External Adjudicator (India).
