Biography

Born in Lagos 1962, attended Igbobi College, Lagos 1973-1978, CMS Grammar School, Bariga, 1978-1980 and University of Lagos, 1980-1983. Obtained PhD in Philosophy at the University of Lagos 1996. Appointed full Professor of African Political Philosophy 2010. Delivered several Keynote Lectures all over the world. Supervised to conclusion 12 PhDs. Assessed several PhD theses and professorial candidates. Won grants individually and collectively worth over 1million USD. Prominent member of the African Studies community. Established a strong collaborative Research Institute at the University of Lagos with the University of the West Indies.
