Biography
Laide Sheba is a professor in the Department of Linguistics and African Languages at Obafemi Awolowo University, Nigeria where she has been teaching and researching since 1985. She has held various positions such as the head of department, vice-dean, hall fellow, hall mistress among others. She has published extensively in various reputable academic journals. Two of her published books are “ISETOFABO NINU ISE AWON ONKOWEKUNRIN YORUBA [Womanism in the works of Yoruba male writers] (2000) and a collection of poems titled “SI OLUFE ATI OKAN-O-JOKAN ASAYAN EWI” [To a darling and various poems] (2016).
