I have attended and presented papers at conferences at home and abroad in the following areas: Oral Literature and Anglophone African Literature and the Literature of the Diaspora. I have supervised four Ph Ds and several Masters dissertations. I have also been invited by several universities to examine their students at the PhD and masters levels on several occasions. The universities include Ibadan University, Ahmadu Bello, University of Lagos, University of Port Harcourt, Delta State University Abraka, Imo State University, Owerri, Ebonyi State University, Abakaliki etc These are different from participation as Readership and Professorial Assessor about which not a few universities have involved me at various times. I have equally written more than 15 books and 140 essays and book chapters, published in Nigeria, some other African countries, Europe, Australia, Asia, India and the Americas.
