Biography
Mabel Evwierhoma is a teacher and critic of drama and theatre from women-centred, gender and cultural perspectives. Her scholarship has taken her to countries in Africa, Europe, the Middle East and America and is evident in publication outlets such as journals, book chapters, books and other treatises. She is a staunch believer in the Nigeria public school system and engages in local and national extension services in communities as well as for Non Governmental Organisations to uplift the status of women and the girl-child. Apart from these, she is a Lawyer and a creative writer mainly in the genres of drama and poetry. She is listed on p.89 and p. 467 in the Directory of Nigerian Professors published by the National Universities Commission, in 2018.
